Sophia and Nick’s wedding at Spring Ranch near Mendocino was peaceful, joyful, and deeply heartfelt. Their relationship grew slowly and naturally over time — from an unexpected first meeting at a dinner gathering in San Francisco, to reconnecting nearly a year later after an Ash Wednesday service, to building a relationship rooted in faith, friendship, curiosity, and love.
Set among towering eucalyptus trees, rolling coastal fields, rustic barns, and historic buildings, Spring Ranch provided an incredible backdrop for their wedding day. The soft overcast weather created beautiful light throughout the celebration, and calm evening conditions allowed for sweeping aerial footage of the venue and surrounding landscape.
The atmosphere throughout the day felt remarkably warm and welcoming. Friends and family laughed easily, supported one another generously, and created the kind of joyful environment every wedding professional hopes to work within. Sophia and Nick’s love for each other — playful, grounded, and deeply connected — was felt in every moment of the day.
