Briana and Andrew were married on a sunny autumn day at Vine Hill House, surrounded by vineyards with the last of the season’s grapes still hanging on the vines. The couple was absolutely beautiful, as were their friends and family. And the wedding was beautiful, too. Beauty was definitely the word of the day for this amazing celebration.
Both Briana and Andrew put a great deal of thought into how to express not only their love for one another, but also their love for others. They each prepared special gifts for their parents, bridesmaids, and groomsmen, recognizing the special place that each of them had in their hearts.
I arrived on site at midday, so we had plentiful time in the afternoon to get great shots in the vineyards, along the treelined driveway and inside the Victorian house that is part of the Vine Hill House experience. It was definitely worthwhile – the drone shots are spectacular, the lighting was beautiful, and the sweeping vistas offered a vast background in which to frame the love and joy of this beautiful couple.

Dottie and Dan were married on a sunny autumn day at a winery in Kenwood in Sonoma County. The couple was clearly so in love and happy to be joining together in union, and the love and support from their families was overflowing. The venue was beautiful, with manicured lawns, fountains, a pond, large walnut trees and surrounded by vineyards, the leaves turning yellow with autumn.
Dottie and Dan have a passion for travel and adventure, and it was clear in both the things their loved ones shared about them, and how they chose to decorate their wedding, with tokens highlighting some of the amazing places they had been.
After there ceremony and food, there was plenty of fun and dance. Dottie and Dan brought together their Thai, Lao and American families, and it was a wonderful, eclectic mix. Some of the more outgoing guests sang songs, and everyone had a great time!

“The video is perfect, I think we started crying within the first 15 seconds. Amazing amazing amazing job!” This was the initial response from the groom. The bride sent another message a little while after saying, “I’m speechless <3 Crying was definitely an understatement, I think I was happy-sobbing on several occasions. Thank you for capturing the love, energy, and excitement on our special day. I can’t thank you enough for building such a wonderful representation of our wedding.”
Reneé and Jon were married on the last weekend of summer at Saint Francis Winery in Santa Rosa. We had unseasonal rains come in, and had to rearrange some plans, but it all turned out great, and was a very fun wedding. You can see drops of rain in some of the shots, and misty clouds hugging the nearby mountains. I especially enjoyed the groom’s dance performance before the garter toss!
The wedding planner, Tyler E. Terrell, did an amazing job of adjusting things and pulling things together while keeping everything smoothly on track! The wedding couple rolled with it and kept on smiling. They were such a joy to work with – so much laughter and sincere, heartfelt love.

Tara and Wayne were married on a sunny summer day on the edge of the Pacific ocean. The backdrop of the beautiful ocean, dramatic cliffs and surrounding forest nestled them in the warm embrace of nature as they entered into their union together. The stunning drone footage and sweet, playful clips of the wedding couple and their guests bring a lively energy to this video, and the heartfelt words that they spoke to one another showed the true depth of their love and connection.
When I shared this video with the wedding couple, the bride responded: “WWEEEE LLLOOOOVVEEEE IIIITTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
It made me so happy to receive this message! 🙂
This was a last minute booking – I got the call just a day before the wedding. I put things into high gear, organizing my kit for the wedding, juggling around plans to make it work with my schedule, and getting myself to the Mendocino Coast for the wedding. I’m so glad I did, and that they chose me to be part of their beautiful wedding celebration.

The wedding was fun, joyful and heartfelt. It was a joy to be part of their special celebration, and we also had a great time! The wedding couple were playful and loving, and their families and friends brought lots of lovely smiles and laughter. Lindsey and Scott were married on a beautiful spring day at the Little River Inn near Mendocino. They had a sweet, intimate celebration with a handful family members present. I was especially struck by their vows, clearly spoken from their hearts, and sprinkled with tender emotions and fun humor.
After the wedding, we went to Van Damme State Park to get some shots in nature, and then to the Mendocino Overlook for stunning drone footage with Mendocino Village and Bay in the background. As I interviewed Lindsey and Scott on the headlands overlooking Mendocino, they shared with me their dreams for the future and some stories from the past.
One of the family members was unable to be attend the wedding, so I prepared a video of the entire wedding ceremony and delivered it to Lindsey and Scott in less than 48 hours, so they could share it with family as soon as possible. Lindsey said to me, “The ceremony video came out so wonderfully!!! I was surprised at how easy it was to hear my audio. We also loved the clip from the headlands at the end! It was so special to share that with Scott’s dad. We sincerely appreciate the quick turnaround and gorgeous footage!”
I really enjoyed this wedding and this lovely couple, and am grateful for the privilege to be part of this important day. Thank you, Lindsey and Scott, for choosing to work with me.

Mitch and Tammy recently celebrated 5 years together. They had planned to wed in April in Ojai, much closer to their home in Southern California. They had to shift their plans due to the Pandemic. Tammy recalled a drive up north last year with her daughter. She had fallen for the Mendocino coastline, and wanted to share it with Mitch. Mitch and Tammy decided to elope now, ‘to bring some good.’
It’s often overcast here in Mendocino. Part of what makes this place so special is the mist weaving over the grass, amongst the Oaks and Redwoods. The uncertainty of the weather meant the possibility of a last minute relocation. We frantically eyed the forecast. Our luck and the weather held! Grey skies cleared just before we were ready to begin. As Tammy vowed, ‘I’ll stay for the exhale.’
Waves broke against the rock arches as Mitch and Vanna, their officiant, waited on the bluffs. It was an honor to capture Mitch turning, his face lighting up as Tammy strode out into the clearing. She was serene, clad in a lace halter dress and long veil. Her exquisite bouquet was grown locally. Winnie Pitrone of Flora of the Fields is a designer and small scale grower who has been cultivating a diverse and gorgeous array of flowers on the Mendocino coast for almost 30 years.
Watching them exchange vows kept away any chill on the sea cliffs. This couple is self assured and playful, which is evident in this interview. They kept the celebration going by sipping champagne over a live streaming reception with their family and loved ones.
I’m so glad they feel their wedding was ‘meant to be here,’ and that I could make it special, documenting these incredible vistas and their heartfelt ceremony. Tammy shared that she felt that I was ‘pure magic.’ I feel the same about the chance to help this delightful couple celebrate their love!

Cheyenne and Akhilesh celebrated their wedding in the autumn at the Stanford Inn in Mendocino, California. They wanted drone footage to show the beauty of Mendocino Village, and the gardens of the Stanford Inn. We were blessed with sunshine and warmth, despite the fall weather, and the wedding turned out beautifully.
Jaclyn and Marcus celebrated their union on a beautiful mid-summer day at a private home on the edge of the Mendocino Headlands.
Mixing different elements of your celebration, captured with an unobtrusive presence, aerial drone footage, interviews to invite people to share what’s in their hearts, and candid moments, we produce documentary style videos that bring you back to your special day and allow you to share it with the people who weren’t able to join.
