Their ceremony took place at Warner Point in Gualala, a striking blufftop location surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on three sides. Tall cliffs fall sharply toward the water below, while windswept cypress trees frame the property and give the setting an unmistakable Mendocino and Sonoma Coast character.
The day began nearby, where Abigail got ready with a lively group of women and girls at an Airbnb overlooking the area. There was an easy, joyful energy throughout the morning as everyone did their hair and makeup, helped with final preparations, and enjoyed the excitement leading up to the ceremony.
Coastal weather can always be unpredictable, and earlier in the day the wind had us wondering what conditions would be like on the exposed bluffs. By the time the ceremony began, however, the wind had softened. Blue skies stretched above the Pacific as gentle clouds moved across the sun, creating beautiful, changing light throughout the afternoon.
Their wedding day came after an equally personal proposal. On November 29, 2024, after spending the day with family and friends at a post-Thanksgiving bonfire and barbecue, Abigail and Santino returned home for what seemed like an ordinary evening. While Abigail got ready for bed, Santino quietly prepared a surprise in their room.
When she opened the door, she found him waiting on one knee with a ring. After she said yes, they spent several quiet minutes together before sharing the news with their parents — including Abigail excitedly announcing that she was going to become Mrs. Jordan.
It was a fitting beginning to the next chapter of their story: personal, heartfelt, and centered around the people closest to them.
As their wedding day came to an end, the California coast delivered one final gift. My last shot of the evening was captured by drone, circling Warner Point as the sun disappeared over the Pacific beneath a sky streaked with oranges, yellows, and reds — a remarkable ending to Abigail and Santino’s wedding on the Northern California coast.
