    Terms and Conditions

    My terms and conditions are as follows. Please read them, and check the box above to acknowledge and agree:

    This confirms our agreement: that Mendocino Photo, shall provide services to photograph your wedding and related events to the best of Mendocino Photo’s abilities, and shall provide products and services listed here:

    1. Photography at your wedding for the time period specified above (which can always be extended at the wedding).
    2. A disk with all the high-resolution image files (digital equivalent of the negatives) of all your wedding photographs which you own and may print freely. You never have to pay again for your photographs.
    3. Uploading of all image files to an internet gallery where you and your family and friends can view your photos, and order prints and enlargements.

    Retainer and Payment:

    The client shall send a retainer deposit of $250 to reserve the date and services for the Wedding. The remaining balance due will be payable at the end of the wedding. Please arrange this with a parent or Best Man. No part of any order will be delivered or uploaded to the Web until the balance is paid in full.

    The Photographers shall refund to the clients the $250 retainer in full in the event of cancellation or postponement of the Wedding up to 60 days before the event. The retainer is not refundable after 60 days prior to the event unless photography of this event is not possible due to fire or other casualty, act of God, or other illness. In this case, the Photographer shall return the money paid as retainer, to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to this Agreement. This liability (return of $250. retainer) shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in shipping, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.

    Photographers:

    Mendocino Photo will be the exclusive professional photographer hired to photograph this wedding, and may bring one assistant at Mendocino Photo’s discretion. Guests are always allowed to take photos as well.

    Copyright and Reproductions:

    Client agrees that all right, and copyrights and/or any intellectual property rights for all photographs, taken pursuant to this Agreement shall vest exclusively in the Photographer. The Photographer may use photographs taken pursuant to this Agreement in the promotion of Mendocino Photo’s services, including but not limited to online, on the videographer’s website and on social media. The right to edit content for public use is granted to the Wedding couple. In exchange for agreed upon compensation, the wedding couple will receive a disk containing high resolution digital files of all photographic images from the wedding. Mendocino Photo also grants to the wedding couple the license to print, share, and otherwise publish any and all of the images on the disk.

    Additional Coverage Time:

    If you wish to add additional coverage time, the rate is typically $400 per hour when booked in advance or $500 when added on the day of the event.
